Unlock seamless control over sales contracts with customers, effortlessly generating associated sales orders or invoices. Ideal for fixed billing frequency contracts spanning specific time periods.
Setup Made Simple: In the Sales & Receivables Setup, navigate to the "Sales Contracts" tab to choose between "Sales Order" or "Sales Invoice" document generation. Set a series number for creating sales contracts.
Key Features:
Sales Contract
- Easily create, modify, or view contracts from the "Sales Contracts" list.
- Input contract details in the 'General' tab, including Contract Date, Validity Start/End Dates, Billing Frequency, and Billing Type.
- The 'Details' tab inherits customer master data, allowing user modifications.
- Specify contract movements in each line, detailing payment information.
Contract Entries
- View entries created upon contract release through the "Open Entry page" action.
- Essential fields include Posting Date, Type, No., and more.
- Two powerful functions available: Create Sales Document and Select Sales Document.
Create Sales Document
- Generate new orders or provisional invoices with ease.
- Activate the 'To Create' flag to populate the 'Amount to Create' field automatically.
- Seamlessly create orders/invoices with just a few clicks.
Select Sales Document
- Link contract movements to existing orders or provisional invoices effortlessly.
- Activate 'To Create' flag, select the desired order/invoice, and link them seamlessly.
Navigation Sales Document
- Open Sales Order/Invoice directly from Sales Contract Entries.
- Track posted amounts to distinguish between generated and pending invoices.
